Smokie makes the Sergeant List!

On Monday, 27 November 2006, Smokie found out he passed all of his test for the Sergeants promotion and that he was placed on the list of candidates to be promoted in the next two years. We just hope that many of the current Sergeants retire quickly so his promotion happens sooner in the two years rather than later!

Perry is already fitting in well at his new house. He sticks with Shelby, his new buddy. And yes, Shelby is sticking his tongue out for the camera! He is very jealous.

Corn Maze October 2006

A local park had a corn maze that stretched over 2 acres! Danny and Bruce loved weaving through the many pathways from entrance to exit, but mom and Addie tired really quick!

Mares Nest Farm Visit 11/6/06

This farm is home to many horses and goldens!



Suebe and her puppies loved everything about Bruce, his shoes, ears, jacket and fingers!


Danny spent his time with the girls, Winnie, Lexi, Suebe and Chloe.

Paws4People

Perry will be here on November 19th! Bruce is so excited that he no longer wants a puppy because 'its a long time to wait until November 19th!'

When Shelby and Perry aren't helping out around the house with the kids, they will work with a non profit group called Paws4People (www.paws4people.org). Both will be Certified Therapy Dogs and also be trained in assisted living. Once a month Shelby will work as a therapy dog at local hospice and nursing homes. Perry on the other hand will work in the public schools as a class mascot starting at 12 weeks! For more information, check out www.Paws4People.org.

Happy Halloween 2006!

Bruce and his red balloon classmates had a parade and posed for pictures afterwards. Bruce is the little white haired powerranger in the front row, second from the left. "It was so fun!" Bruce exclaimed!



I couldn't resist dressing Adelina up in Danny's Lion costume! Danny wore this costume at a Halloween costume contest in Reston when he was just one year old and Bruce wore it when he was a year old too. Adelina loved herself so much as a Lion that she kissed her mirrored reflection!

Danny attends Stonebridge High School in Ashburn VA. He is doing fantastic in his classes and really loves being in the Stonebridge Marching Band! He recently bought a full drum set with money he earned from his dad for his report card. Way to go Danny!
