Pillowcase Pajama Pants!

Bruce was seriously thrilled to get these. Begged me to find something to make him because I was making so many dresses and books for Addie. I used one of his store bought PJ bottoms to make a pattern and for the most part they came out really nice...but a little snug in the waist and butt. He wore them one night, ripped the butt out and now they are just sitting on his floor. He'd wear them again if I'd let him but I've promised to make him a pair that are actually his size. I'm going on Project Runway and making everything from pillowcases!

Morning Mom!

Since I knew you were visiting this website today, thought I'd write you a little note! Hope you have a good day! Let me know if we should plan to come down this weekend and pick apples....the air is so crisp out I think its time and would be so fun! Addie's first day at preschool and first pillowcase dress!

I made this dress out of a pillowcase! Read about them online and the pattern was so simple....I definitely need some help refining my stitches (and ending them, and setting up a pattern, etc etc) but I'm just gonna throw some buttons over the ugly areas for now! Sorry for the poor picture quality, good camera is full and have been using old one :(

Waiting for Addie's ballet class to start!

So excited about going to preschool! She had a wonderful first day, exclaimed immediately that she wanted to go back again! This is the same preschool Bruce attended last year. He was Red Balloons class which is right next to Addie's Yellow Birds class...which is good because she feels totally comfortable in the environment and is having a BLAST!

Master Lee says 'No angry with me Bruce!' when Bruce tries to make tiger eyes at his martial arts class. He is doing so well, earning stripes on his belt just about each class. Master Lee praises Bruce often for paying attention and having a good attitude. That is Bruce for you, extremely self controlled and respectful!

Danny is tenors again this year. He is looking forward to London in December. So sad we can't all go....I don't think Danny's too upset though :)

So annoyed, and yet still thriving! At 14, my buddy, Paddie cat is still going strong. God love her.

Happy Birthday Bruce Joseph! We celebrate as he turns 6! Hard to believe...

After a long day in first grade, he finally got his cake at 9pm! He was so exhausted, first grade really wears him out! But what a trooper, he was able to blow out all the candles and somehow muster the energy to open all his presents! What a guy :)
